Micheal C. Abreu Sr.

Micheal C. Abreu Sr. was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  He is a graduate of the Central Dauphin East High School, in Harrisburg, and currently enrolled in Southeastern University, for Ministerial leadership.  He is the Lead Pastor of River of God Capital City Campus.  Also, the owner of Faith and Family wireless, LLC, (third party Verizon) with two locations, in Harleysville and Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.

Micheal grew up in the city of Harrisburg and recalls fond memories of his childhood on South 14th Street, where he still has life-long friends.  Although God’s hand has always been over his life, he was far from the Lord.

As a teenage father, running the streets, taking part in all kinds of illegal activity, poisoning the very community in which he lived.  But God is faithful and when he was still serving the enemy, God gave him a dream that he would be walking the very streets, he worked to destroy, with a message of Hope in Jesus Christ. 

When Micheal received Christ in 2011, The Lord reminded him of that dream and Soldiers of God (S.O.G) was birthed, which is a street ministry whose goal is to bring hope by showing God’s love to others by meeting both spiritual and physical needs through outreaches and give aways to the community, feeding and supplying the homeless, prayer walks, concerts, as well as, building trust and offering kinship, by being available to the community.

Micheal accepted the call to ministry to preach and teach the Word of God.  He began his ministry in 2013, with S.O.G, also serving as a young adult’s leader in the church, moving into a role of Youth Pastor, and now currently serves as Lead Pastor of River of God Capital City Campus since September 2021.

Micheal is also a part of a national men’s ministry called HOG MOB, (Hooked On God Ministry Over Business) which brings the Love and Hope of Jesus Christ to the lost primarily through music as well as various other avenues serving communities all over the United States. 

Micheal is a devoted husband to his wife, Shana of 14 years. whom he serves in Ministry with, as well ok as father of 5 beautiful children, 1 foster daughter, 4 Grandchildren and God willing many more to come.

He is currently pursuing his ministerial degree while Pastoring and Owning and operating two Verizon wireless store locations.  He sees his business as a ministry and has been able to use it as a platform to bring Glory to God through business integrity as well as loving and supporting his employees, they all have been introduced to Jesus!

Michael’s passions are reaching the unsaved for Christ under the leading of the Holy Spirit, teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and leading men into their God-given purpose by walking alongside them, offering support through Godly guidance, and counseling.
